For hardphones you can choose from various vendors like Yealink , Fanvil, Snom etc. You can integrate CRM, Whatsapp or Office 365 with 3CX Voip. 3CX also provides Cloud contact center solutions.

For small and mid-size companies our recommendation is 3CX video conferencing. Instant Messaging/SMS/Whatsapp integration

The feature of Instant messaging and presence is available in all 3 vendors (Webex, Teams and 3CX). Share your thoughts, ask for help, and report your progress. Send gifs, stickers, and emojis in a group chat or one-on-one messages.

Cisco provides the feature of Instant messaging in form of Jabber for on-premise solution and Webex messaging for cloud solution. On the other hand, Teams chat, a cloud-based solution from Microsoft for Instant messaging and presence.

When it comes to Whatsapp integration, 3CX provides native whatsapp integration with its Cloud PBX. 3CX integration simplifies workflows for businesses that rely heavily on WhatsApp for customer interactions. To integrate Whatsapp with 3CX solution, all you need is a Whatsapp Business API. 

On the other hand you cannot natively integrate the Whatsapp with Teams and Webex. However, using third-party tools we can integrate Whatsapp with Teams and Webex.

The hosted VoIP telephony solution from Cisco is branded as Webex Calling. It offers full support and VoIP feature like Call Greetings, Call queues, Voice mails and specialised features like Call routing and Call Control. Moreover, Webex also supports Webex calling for Microsoft Teams and Office 365 integration. 

For PSTN calls Enterprises have three options. 

  1. Cisco Calling Plans, Cisco himself provides a built-in PSTN solution for Webex Calling in certain regions.
  2. Bring your own PSTN, you can integrate your existing PSTN service with Webex Calling. 
  3. Cisco Calling with a Cloud-Connected PSTN Provider (CCP), Cisco has partnerships with certified PSTN providers who offer direct integration with Webex Calling.

Teams Calling

The hosted VoIP telephony solution from Microsoft called Teams Calling. Teams offers VoIP features like Call Greetings, Call queues, Voicemail, and advance features such as Call routing and Call control. Furthermore, Teams integrates with Microsoft 365 applications.

For PSTN calls, enterprises have three options:

  1. Teams Calling Plans, which simply mean choosing Microsoft as your PSTN provider.
  2. Direct-Routing, choosing SIP trunks and calling numbers from PSTN of your choice and then host a SBC to integrate SIP trunk from PSTN and Microsoft Cloud PBX together.
  3. Operator-Connect, choose microsoft certified PSTN providers who offers direct integration with Teams calling. No need to self host SBC to integrate it with Teams PBX

3CX Calling

3CX provides both hosted as well as on-premise VoIP telephony solution. Businesses has the choice to choose either between hosted PBX from 3CX or to host the 3CX PBX on Azure/AWS cloud, This provides more control on the PBX system such as setting extension numbers of your own choice.

Businesses can also host the 3CX PBX locally.

It offers Voip features like Call control, Call routing, Call queueing, Voice mails etc. and integration with Office 365.

Cisco Webex meetings offers a range of meeting room hardware options from Cisco, including devices like Webex Room Kits, Webex Board, Webex Desk Pro, and Webex Room Panorama, catering to different room sizes and configurations. These devices combine video conferencing, whiteboarding, and content-sharing capabilities in all-in-one systems like the Webex Board or Webex Desk Pro.

Some of the Key features include:

  • AI-powered capabilities such as real-time transcription, noise suppression, and facial recognition.
  • Webex Assistant for voice-activated meeting controls and action
    item recording.
 

Webex also provides integrated whiteboarding, wireless content sharing, and customizable room controls through APIs. Additionally, Webex integrates seamlessly with its own ecosystem (Meetings, Teams, Calling) and supports third-party platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom via SIP. The cost are higher due to proprietary hardware from Cisco.

From Microsoft

Microsoft Teams rooms or MTR, offers a flexible range of certified hardware solutions from partners like Logitech, Poly, Yealink, and Crestron for meeting room hardware. These options are designed for spaces ranging from small huddle rooms to large conference rooms,
with modular systems that allow mixing and matching of cameras, microphones, and touch controllers.

Some of the Key features are:

  • Teams Rooms come with intelligent features like speaker tracking, noise suppression, and real-time transcription.
  • Microsoft Whiteboard for real-time collaboration and offers other features like automatic meeting insights, which include notes, recordings, and task assignments.
 

Users can share content with one click and join to start meetings from a mobile device near the room system. Teams Rooms integrate with Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Generally a cheaper solution due to flexibility to choose hardware.
